"Creative Expo Taiwan 2023" will open on September 22 and run until October 1 in Taipei. The Ministry of Culture said that this year, in addition to linking the five cultural institutions in Taipei City, it would also reach all museums in Taiwan for the first time, breaking over the boundaries of a single county and city. Shih Che, the Minister of Culture, expects that this would allow Taiwan's most diversified cultural talents to come together at the Creative Expo Taiwan, which will then be able to really "open" to the entire country.

The main exhibition halls of Creative Expo Taiwan this year include five significant cultural venues: the Taipei Flora Expo Pavilion, Huashan Cultural and Creative Park, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab, and Preparatory Office of National Railway Museum. Additionally, these venues bring together the National Taiwan Museum, National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, Fort Zeelandia Museum, National Museum of Taiwan History, and National Museum of Prehistory 5 subsidiary pavilions.

For the first time, Creative Expo Taiwan features a significant performing arts shows this year. A massive circus tent was also initially brought to the event site and placed in the "Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab" major exhibition area.
