In June of this year, Su Rongshi (蘇榮世), the Filipino second-generation goodwill ambassador, received his degree from Tamkang University's English Department. His involvement in the National Immigration Agency’s new second-generation training program during his undergraduate years led to his career as a social worker, helping people after graduation and putting in a lot of study to give back to society.
In order to introduce metal wire kinds, materials, and production tools, the NIA Taipei City Service Center recently collaborated with the Taipei City Vocational Development Institute, the Department of Civil Affairs, Taipei City Government, and the Shilin District Office to host a metal craft experience course. Su Rongshi enrolled in this course together with his mother.

Su Rongshi, a kind and thoughtful person, developed his skills from working as an interpreter to taking part in the NIA's dream building and training programs. This helped him realize that his ultimate objective is to "serve the disadvantaged."

The National Immigration Agency is dedicated to assisting new immigrants and their children in realizing their aspirations, according to the director (蘇慧雯) of the NIA Taipei City Service Center. Registration is now open for the tenth Dream-building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children. This year's registration period closes on November 20.
The registration brochure may be found on the National Immigration Agency's Global Information Network or by calling Ms. Hu at 02-23889393, extension 2371. Additionally, the quadrennial presidential election will be held in year 2024. NIA also urge new immigrant families to work together to defend Taiwan's democratic and uncontaminated electoral culture by opposing vote bribery, regardless of their ethnic background.
