Children of new immigrants were invited by NIA to share about the development of multiculturalism in the regional revitalization

National Immigration Agency organized the "NIA Multicultural Regional Revitalization Cultivation Camp for Children of New Immigrants" in collaboration with the National Development Council and the Keelung City Government. This time, 42 new immigrants and children of Taiwanese nationals were invited to take part in the in-depth exchange of neighborhood ancient structures, according to Director-General, Bill Chung (鐘景琨). Participants are encouraged to use their imagination to combine what they have seen and heard with Taiwanese traditions to give birth to a new soul.

This time, according to Bill Chung (鐘景琨), director-general of the NIA, the topic is regional regeneration. The training camp organizes well-known local teams to share local transformation and creation instances, as well as intercultural exchanges, creative presentation production, and stage charm expression, allowing new immigrant children to completely learn. The parents of the participants attending the training camp this year are from mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand.

In order to learn about local life stories and jointly create more opportunities for development, Bill Chung (鐘景琨), NIA director-general, hopes that the participants will be imaginative and what they have learned to combine multicultural backgrounds on the final day of the camp's results presentation competition.
