The bilingual education policy is extensively promoted in Tainan City's elementary and middle schools. Tainan Shanshang Elementary School collaborated with Taiwan International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE) to apply for foreign volunteers to provide pupils with top-notch bilingual learning experiences in order to improve the bilingual learning environment. To enhance kids' language proficiency and cross-cultural interactions, Dashe Elementary School and we both employed international English teachers.

Despite first feeling unfamiliar and out of the ordinary visiting the elementary school, Emma, a college volunteer from the United States, claimed that she eventually like Taiwan and was eager to discover Taiwan's cultural norms. The principal also valued Emma's assistance. A multilingual website, introducing fresh ideas to the school, and showing more varied content on the internet platform are all things Emma utilizes her skills in information to advise on.

Two days a week, Love, another teacher from the Philippines, teaches bilingual classes at Shanshang Elementary School. It has greatly aided the school's promotion of English instruction thanks to the support of foreign volunteer Emma. Students are anticipated to grow up with multiculturalism and multiracial perspective on the world.
