The NIA stated that to cooperate with the government's overall epidemic prevention policy, the department plans the project "Take COVID-19 rapid tests & Serve quarantine with peace of mind" for migrants to encourage migrants who did not renew their Work Permits to undergo rapid tests and protect their health and rights.

With the increase in the number of tourists and populations from various countries in Taiwan, there are more exchange programs & international cooperation between the Immigration Department & the embassies of Taiwan around the world and NIA.

Therefore, the NIA has organized the "Foreign Affairs Workshop 2021" event since 2015 to create a friendly living environment for foreigners and become an important platform for interaction and exchanges among foreign embassies of Taiwan.
