  Taipei City's Digital Student ID Upgrade! Emergency Message Printing Added to Enhance Student Safety

  To ensure that students can quickly seek help in emergencies, the Taipei City Department of Education has added emergency contact information on the back of digital student IDs. Starting from June of the 112th academic year, customized digital student IDs will be provided for new students or those replacing lost or damaged cards.To protect students' physical and mental well-being, Taipei City's digital student IDs will include emergency contact information such as psychological counseling hotlines, emergency numbers (110 or 119 for life-threatening situations), and the "Taipei City Petition System 1999" for reporting violence, bullying, drug threats, or any form of harm. In addition to small-value transactions via EasyCard, they can be used for transportation systems such as the MRT (in Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, and Kaohsiung), Maokong Gondola, buses, public bicycles, and parking lots. They are also accepted for small-value purchases at four major convenience store chains, Taipei Zoo, Children's New Paradise, and other outlets, integrating with the EasyWallet e-wallet for automatic top-ups. The emergency messages on the back of the ID allow students to access necessary help at any time.By adding emergency messages to the digital student ID, students' ability to respond to situations is enhanced. This initiative also promotes and encourages students to speak up against bullying to protect their safety.   Ministry of the Interior-Pilot Program for Mobile Phone Binding with Citizen Digital Certificates-E-finger to Get It Done

  The Ministry of the Interior announced today (24th) that it will expand the trial service for in-person applications for mobile national ID cards starting immediately. Citizens only need to bring their mobile phones to any of the 24 household registration offices nationwide to apply for a mobile national ID card at a cost of NT$30. This service eliminates the need to carry physical cards, allowing people to use their phones for online identity verification, digital signatures, and encryption services anytime. The Ministry of the Interior plans to fully implement this service nationwide at household registration offices starting November 25, achieving the goal of "carry your ID, enhance digital life."The Ministry of the Interior announced that citizens only need to bring their mobile phones to any of the 24 household registration offices nationwide to apply for a mobile Citizen Digital Certificate on-site.(Photo / Screenshot from the Internet)According to the Information Services Division of the Ministry of the Interior, the service was trialed starting on June 24 at 24 household registration offices. Citizens can apply for a personal chip IC card costing NT$250 and register it with their mobile phones at the household registration offices or through self-registration.   "Bear Love: New Residents Express Affection with Painted Bears"

  When new residents arrive in Taiwan, they face differences in environment, language, culture, and diet. At such times, support and encouragement from family are crucial. Additionally, participating in educational programs is an excellent way to increase adaptability.
