The Taiwan Association Of Community Advancement (TACA), the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Fire Agency, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare jointly held a departure ceremony (送災救車輛及醫療儀器和器材到烏克蘭啟運儀式) a few days ago and invited well-meaning individuals from all walks of life to participate in the donation activities in order to show Taiwan's humanitarian concern for Ukraine. In August, shipping to Ukraine is anticipated.

The chairman (白璨榮) of Sun Jen Fabric in Shengang Township, Changhua County, who launched the donation initiative, began gathering fire engines, ambulances, and other disaster relief vehicles more than five months ago. A total of 48 retired fire engines, ambulances, and other disaster relief vehicles were eventually raised with the help of the National Fire Agency and other units. After spending more than 10 million dollars on renovations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, and other organizations helped with the shipping to Ukraine.

Numerous Ukrainians living in Taiwan attended the donation ceremony that day to show their support. Olga Kulish (林歐莉亞), coordinator of the Taiwan Ukrainian team, along with every Ukrainian living in Taiwan are extremely appreciative of the Taiwanese people's concern and commitment. They will never forget their assistance to Ukraine.
