The "Taipei Fashion Week SS25," hosted by the Ministry of Culture, will take place from October 17th to 21st at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. This season’s theme, "TaiType Fashion Encyclopedia," explores the fashion aesthetics of Taiwan’s daily life and street culture. Through the creative perspectives of various designers, the event showcases Taiwan’s cultural landscape and humanistic spirit. The event integrates historical elements, traditional concepts, and modern design to create a unique style that blends local and international influences, enhancing the competitiveness of Taiwanese designs.
Minister of Culture Lee Yuen mentioned during the pre-event press conference that clothing culture is not only a part of personal expression but also a crucial element of the overall cultural industry. He pointed out that since the Ministry of Culture took over the organization of Taipei Fashion Week in 2018, it has gradually transformed the cultural industry into a "profitable business," endowing fashion with more cultural significance and commercial value. This year’s theme, "TaiType Fashion Encyclopedia," highlights the diversity of Taiwanese daily life through collaborations between fashion and graphic designers.

The opening show of this year’s fashion week features six designers working together with six Taiwanese graphic IP creators to present abundant cultural creativity. The lineup includes .67ARROW x Low-Level Error, #DAMUR x wei wei boy, DYCTEAM x Raimochi, RAY CHU x michun, Story Wear x Wang Dengyu, and TANGTSUNGCHIEN x Xia Xian. These collaborations showcase a dynamic presentation that combines fashion design and visual art, infusing Taiwan’s fashion industry with innovative ideas.
Additionally, artists Lin Xiang and Xiao Le (Wu Sihsien) were invited to serve as models at the opening press conference, wearing pieces from the designer brands session and .67ARROW. They demonstrated the diverse cultural interpretations of Taiwanese fashion. They believe that integrating totemic elements from vintage, Hakka, and indigenous cultures into the designs embodies the spirit of "cultural fusion" that Taipei Fashion Week has emphasized over the years.

During Taipei Fashion Week, a total of 13 designer brand shows will be held, featuring the latest collections from renowned brands such as Story Wear, GIOIA PAN, Dleet, CHOW des HOMME, HANSEN ATELIER, INF, JENN LEE, Seivson, WANGLILING, Yenline, #DAMUR, Liyu Tsai, and Daniel Wong. From elegance to boldness, the 13 shows pose questions to the current era, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship from concept to creation, and perfectly interpreting the creative ingenuity of Taiwanese designers.
Apart from dynamic shows, Taipei Fashion Week SS25 will also host an "International Apparel Buyer Meeting" and collaborate with Breeze Xinyi Department Store to launch the "Fashion Select Shop," showcasing a variety of limited-edition items from Taiwanese fashion brands. The event will run from October 1st to December 31st, offering more styling inspirations and shopping options for fashion enthusiasts.
