According to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), CECC makes adjustments to related measures and urges public to continue following epidemic prevention and control measures.
As the pandemic continues to subside and the situation is under control in Taiwan, after discussions with relevant agencies and assessments, the CECC announced on October 28 that it will maintain the Level 2 epidemic alert, effective from November 2 to November 15. Details about adjustments to related regulations are listed below.

- A. Level 2 measures:
1. Masks must be worn at all times when outside, except for the following situations:
(1) When exercising or singing indoors or outdoors;
(2) When taking individual/group photos indoors or outdoors;
(3) When people in the agriculture, forestry, fishing, and animal husbandry sectors work in open spaces (such as farm fields, fish ponds, forests and mountains);
(4) When people are in forests, on mountains (including forest recreation areas), and on the beach.
(5) When people in hot/cold springs, dry sauna rooms, spas, steam rooms, saunas, places providing water activities, or venues where masks can get wet easily.
In the above-mentioned situations, people will not be required to wear a mask, but they should carry a mask with them. Masks are still required if COVID-19 symptoms are present and social distancing cannot be maintained.
2. Commercial business venues and public venues should implement contact information registration, take temperatures, enhance disinfection of premises, carry out health management among staff, and implement timely responses to the occurrence of confirmed cases.
- The following restrictions will be lifted:
(1) The limit on the number of people in gatherings;
(2) Crowd control or capacity limit management at commercial business venues and public venue;
(3) Reduction in the maximum number of people outdoors in art performances and exhibitions/sports events and games/national parks/national scenic areas/the tourism and amusement industry;

- Masks may be temporarily removed when consuming food and beverages on Taiwan Railway Administration and Taiwan High-Speed Rail trains, intercity buses, tour buses, and domestic flights/ships, and in cinemas, KTV bars, MTVs, and Internet cafes.
● B. Venues that should remain closed:
singing and dance venues, nightclubs, clubs, hostess bars, bars, pubs, and beauty parlors; these establishments without hostess services may open provided that they must follow epidemic prevention and management regulations.
