Every night starting at 6:30 p.m., there will be a fantastic performance every half hour until the last performance at 8:45 p.m. From March 31 to May 28, the event will run two months. Up to May 7, you may also take in the fireworks display. There will also be a "Farmer's Market," a "Picnic Party," and a few fortunate draw events during the vacation. On March 31, 2023, the Bitan Water Dance will take place. When you visit Bitan, you may enjoy the water dance as well as events hosted by several bureaus and affiliated organizations on weekends and during holidays. The Bitan Water Dance will take place this year from March 31 at 17:30 to May 28 at 8:45, with performances every half hour from 6:30 to 8:30 every night. There will be 2 beautiful songs, each lasting 4.5 minutes, in the final performance—a total of 6 performances.

Every Sunday throughout the event, a "Farmer's Market" will be held there, selling only fresh, non-toxic local agricultural goods from New Taipei City. In addition, a lottery will be started over the holidays. More than 1,000 prizes are up for grabs, including gift cards for meals at hotels and restaurants as well as passes to the Wulai hot springs. In addition, there will be a "picnic party" from April 1 to April 3.
This year's Bitan Water Dance takes place in April and May, making this time of year the greatest for seeing fireflies. In Bitan, tourists can thus do more than just ride swan boats and see water dance performances; they can also visit the neighboring Hemei Mountain Trail (和美山步道) to see fireflies.
