Puncars were recently sent by NIA Keelung City Service Center to promote New Immigrants Digital Application Information Project (新住民數位應用資訊計畫) and associated course material during the unit's operations for new immigrants. Through these courses, it is anticipated that new immigrants may learn how to use digital technology in everyday life.

National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior is promoting the New Immigrants Digital Application Information Project (新住民數位應用資訊計畫) to offer new immigrants free training relating to computers and digital technologies. In addition to offering 8 well-liked courses this year, there have been added 2 new physical courses and 2 practical courses, comprising varied and fascinating courses like Internet marketing, designing Line stickers, and an introduction to podcasts.

According to NIA Keelung City Service Center, the initiative also built a "New Immigrants in Taiwan 新住民數位資訊e網" to offer new immigrants access to online resources for home study. To aid new immigrants in understanding course material and information more rapidly, the website offers translations in six other languages.
