To enable the second generation of immigrants to improve their abilities and put their knowledge into practice, the empowerment courses aim to nurture seven aspects of abilities such as decision-making, creativity, community building, risk-taking, problem-solving, connection, and knowledge.

This year, a new aspect of “awareness” was added. Through visiting Wanhua which has a lot of immigrant residents and cooperating with the local community, participants were able to understand the community better. They could also discover the problems of community development via interviews and data collection, as well as look for solutions and understand their own personality traits, so as to improve their own strengths and competitiveness.
