  • CECC extends nationwide level 3 alert

As COVID-19 in Taiwan improves, the government is beginning to ease restrictions. The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the nationwide level 3 alert will be extended to July 26 (currently downgraded to level 2 beginning July 27). Restaurants may allow dining as long as appropriate epidemic prevention measures are observed.   • Online Vaccine Registration and Booking System

Taiwan's government launched an online system where the public can register for vaccines. Kinmen, Matzu, and Penghu were the first places to use the system.
