In order to assist the employers who manage to hire the foreign employees, Penghu Foreign Employment Counseling Service Center has been relocated to the third floor of Labor Activity Center (Daxian Street No.160, 3rd Floor, Anshan Village, Magong City, Penghu County). The previous counseling service center is closed and no one stationed there, therefore the government call on the people to not going to the wrong address.
The Social Affairs said that the Foreign Employment Counseling Service Center office hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 – 12:00 and 13:30 – 17:30. The service consultation are about the employment service related laws and regulations, advisory, provide foreign migrant life information, legal consultation services, foreign employments transfer of labor disputes, the termination of the employment relationship verification (early termination), accepting the foreign employees immigration notification, including the extension of the employment and certificate issued, “Certificate of No Violation of Labour Law”, foreign employees management, counseling, management, inspections, visitations, and private consultation.
The Head of the Social Affairs Mr. Su appeals that those who pay attention for the foreign migrant friends, or need social care, could go to the service center for the consultation services for working and living, actively protect the right for the legal work, reduce the anxiety of work and the anxiety because leave the country to work in Taiwan. It also aim to reduce the cultural differences and language barriers, reduce the incidence of employment disputes, and create a win-win situation for the employees and employers.
