The Ministry of the Interior just held a review conference about the Naturalization of professionals and naturalized 8 talents in Taiwan. Since the "Nationality Act" has amended and implemented on December 21 in 2016, 119 foreign professionals have devoted to Taiwan, love and confirm this land.
A total of 8 professionals have passed the review, including 3 in the education field, 3 in the medical field, 1 in the economic field, and 1 in the science and technology field. Among them, A Malaysian man, Mr. Chang, not only excels in the research of stem cells but also found that Niclosamide, which is clinically used in the treatment of roundworm infections that can be also used to inhibit platelet agglutination to prevent thrombosis-related diseases.
This major invention is unique around the world that not only benefiting people's health but giving Taiwan a place in the international medical community.
The Ministry of the Interior states that after being naturalized, high-level professionals will have the right to participate in politics and obtain various social welfare guarantees. To facilitate the access to relevant information for international professionals, the Department of Household Registration of the Ministry of the Interior has established a special area for high-level professionals to apply for naturalization.
