Taiwan now included in "Green" list of countries by the UK, no quarantined required starting July 19

The British government recently updated its "green" or safe travel list, now including Taiwan and Hong Kong. Those arriving from Taiwan and Hong Kong are not required to undergo quarantine starting July 19.

As of May 17, non-essential travel from the UK is no longer banned. The UK has dramatically loosened its border restrictions and will now allow in travelers from select ‘green list’ destinations – without requiring any form of quarantine.

The list was updated on July 14, including Hong Kong and Bulgaria in the "green" category, while Taiwan and Croatia are in the "green watchlist".

Countries such as Cuba, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Sierra Leone are now in the "amber" category as it was previously in the "red" category. Those arriving in the UK from these countries must undergo quarantine before entering the country.
