As the epidemic in Taiwan has improved, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) launched a new care service for new immigrants. Courses and activities will be held in service stations beginning in August.

The Keelung City Service Station Specialized Operation Brigades of the NIA launched mobile car services and visited new immigrants living in Ruifang on August 17. A-Hung, a new immigrant who currently runs a calligraphy shop in Ruifang, is mourning his wife's recent passing and has some doubts about the residential laws in Taiwan. The NIA Keelung City Service Station provided immediate services and emotional support by clarifying the residential laws in Taiwan.

The mobile car service also passed by the Keelung City Ba Pang Yuan, a women and children's association dedicated to promoting the rights of new residents in Keelung. The association was established by the head of Hsin Feng-li Neighborhood 新豐里 Ting Li-na 丁麗娜. Ting often works with government agencies in promoting the development of new immigrants. Through workshops and activities and developing networks with local NGOs, the NIA Keelung City Service Station can work better with the association in promoting a friendly environment for new immigrants in Keelung City.

Director of the NIA Keelung City Service Station Mao Chao-li 毛兆莉 stated that the mobile car service is to provide support and services to new immigrants in terms of assessing their stays, and other related problems they may face. The NIA Keelung City Service Station hopes to improve its service quality and create a friendly environment for new immigrants.
