Hualien Rural Revitalization Plan: Ten Major Agri-tourism Routes and "Agrifan Coins" Campaign Boost Reconstruction

To revitalize Hualien's rural economy and agricultural industry post-earthquake, the Ministry of Agriculture launched the "Blooming from the Heart" initiative in April this year, which received widespread response. Building on this success, the Ministry is set to kick off "Blooming from the Heart 2.0 - Hualien Rural Revitalization Agri-Fan Coin Program" on July 1st. This initiative includes ten distinct thematic travel routes aimed at encouraging consumer spending in Hualien, supporting local agriculture, and promoting rural tourism.

Ten Major Agri-Tourism Routes:

1. Fish Touching Fun - Waves of Joyful Fish Touching by the Sea: Experience the joy of fishing by the seaside.
2. Leisurely Journey - Vanilla Beauty Relaxing Trip: Enjoy the tranquil beauty of a vanilla garden.
3. Ecological Abundance - Shoufeng Ecological Farm Tour: Explore the rich ecology of Shoufeng.
4. Water Breathing - Mata'an Indigenous Aquatic Fun: Experience water activities at Mata'an.
5. Forest Retreat - Forest Railway Adventure: Embark on a dual railway journey through the forest.
6. Milk Pomelo Fragrance - A Pure Journey of Milk and Pomelo Scents: Indulge in a refreshing blend of milk and pomelo fragrances.
7. Coffee & Tea Quest - A Rich Journey of Coffee & Tea: Explore the rich aroma of coffee and tea.
8. Pomelo & Rice Encounter - 193 Line Pomelo and Rice Village: Along the 193 highway, admire the views of pomelo and rice fields.
9. Golden Scenery - Golden Needle Mountain Retreat: Forget your worries at Golden Needle Mountain.
10. Mountain Exploration - Geological and Cultural Exploration in Luoshan: Discover the geological and cultural wonders of Luoshan. 

These routes feature various performances, art installations, interactive experiences, and technological art activities suitable for travelers of different ages and interests.

Agri-Fan Coin Event Details:

 During the period from July 1st to October 31st, participants can receive NT$250 worth of electronic vouchers valid for use with local partners in Hualien County. These vouchers can be used to purchase tickets, participate in agricultural experience activities, buy specialty agricultural products, or souvenirs. Vouchers must be used by November 30th and cannot be redeemed for cash.

How to Receive Agri-Fan Coins:

• On-site Collection: During the event, become a member of the Agri-Easy Travel Network, activate location services on your mobile device, and log in to collect once per member within seven days.
• E-commerce Platform Shopping: During the "Blooming from the Heart 2.0" event, spend over NT$1000 on Hualien agricultural products on selected e-commerce platforms to receive electronic vouchers, valid for two months.
• Hope Plaza and Farmers' Market: Spend over NT$1000 at Taipei's Hope Plaza or Hualien's Farmers' Market to receive vouchers, valid for two months.

In addition to the aforementioned themed travel routes, there are a variety of colorful activities waiting for you to participate in during the event, including:

1. Circus Performances: A 9-day continuous circus show featuring parade performances, magic acts, singing, and dancing shows.
2. Card Challenges: Collect cards during games to enhance interactive fun.
3. Market and Experience Zones: These zones feature markets and circus experience areas, providing more options for parent-child interaction.

Participants in the event include rural community enterprises, local specialties, leisure farms, farmer's direct sales stations, and tourist fish markets. These partners offer a variety of experiential activities and unique products, enabling visitors to support Hualien's rural economy while enjoying a rich tourism experience.
