Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) stated that people avoiding going to medical institutions or hospitals amid virus spread indirectly decrease parents' willingness to take their children to get vaccinated. According to the statistics done by the CDC in early April, every item of vaccines that preschool children should receive reduced by 1-9% respectively. If children's vaccines continue to be delayed, their immunity might be impacted and create a loophole of preventing the virus from spreading.

The CDC called that it is both important for children to receive vaccines and to prevent the COVID-19 from spreading. If parents worry about going to crowded places with their kids, they should conduct some measures, such as making an appointment to avoid long queues. Besides, it is reminded that if you've been delayed to take your children to receive vaccines due to quarantine, please complete it after quarantine as soon as possible.
