The Yingge Carnival and Yingge Origin Open Day are about to kick off with a series of exciting events! From October 4th to October 13th, the New Taipei City Government, in collaboration with the local ceramic brand "Tao Ci Wa Dai Dai," will bring a wide array of activities to Yingge, including five themed street tours, an international ceramics market, the YOYO Family parent-child performance, and limited DIY experiences. From morning till night, visitors can enjoy the infinite charm of ceramic culture!

The Yingge Carnival aims to boost the local economy and promote ceramic culture. This year, the New Taipei City Government has teamed up with Tao Ci Wa Dai Dai to lead visitors on in-depth tours of factories and Yingge Old Street, providing insights into the rich history of the ceramics industry and its transformation in the modern era. Economic Development Department Director Sheng Hsiao-Jung stated that through these diverse activities, visitors can not only appreciate beautiful ceramic crafts but also experience the making process firsthand, feeling the charm of handcrafted art and enhancing the visibility of the Yingge local brand.

This year's Yingge Carnival market activities have been expanded, extending from the Yingge Ceramic Business District to Yingge Elementary School. The events include the "Ceramic Market" hosted by local Yingge businesses and the "International Ceramics Market" curated by Tao Ci Wa Dai Dai, featuring ceramic artists from three different regions in Japan showcasing their exquisite artworks. The event creates a cultural exchange between ceramics and international communities, offering visitors a unique experience of cultural fusion.

In addition to ceramic experiences, parent-child interactive activities are a major highlight! The YOYO Family, a favorite among children, will perform energetic sing-along sessions, and a "Children's Play Area" will be set up. By downloading the NewTaiPAY APP, participants can challenge three fun stations, and those who complete the challenges can receive a NT$50 "Carnival Coupon" (limited to 1,000 daily). Download the New Taipei Mobile Payment APP and complete designated tasks to receive NT$100 vouchers for use at the "Ceramic Market" or "Nanya Road Night Market." There will also be DIY activities such as painting dolls and clay molding, allowing both adults and children to fully participate and enjoy the fun of handmade crafts.

"Tao Ci Wa Dai Dai" has specially launched the "Yingge Origin Open Day" event, featuring five street tour routes and an international ceramics market. With professional guidance from local experts, visitors will be taken on an exploration of Yingge's unique ceramic culture and history. Additionally, local kiln artisans will be invited into schools during the event period to create special artworks with children, which will be displayed and sold at the market, providing a memorable crafting experience for kids.
