Exchanges between countries are very precious during the epidemic. Towards the end of June this year, Poland donates 20,000 AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine doses to Taiwan. Speaking of this, more international exchanges are occurring between Taiwan and Lithuania.

Lots of people in Taiwan enjoy their steak with a bit of pasta, some carrots, sweetcorn, peas and a sunny-side-up egg. According to a Facebook post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), this Taiwanese night-market-style steak was recently served up at the Twin Oaks dining table, when Ambassador 蕭美琴 Bi-khim Hsiao met Chair of the Lithuanian Seimas’ Foreign Affairs Committee Žygimantas Pavilionis in Washington DC.

Ambassador Hsiao took the opportunity to thank the people and the government of #Lithuania for their generosity in donating vaccines to #Taiwan and they shared their common experience of confronting authoritarian bullies throughout history and the struggle for freedom.
