Yang Shih-Hao’s "Circus Gate" Shines Bright in Bangkok, Leading Audiences into a World of Wonder and Joy. This performance, supported by the Cultural Division of the Ministry of Culture in Thailand, featured Yang Shih-Hao's latest creation "After," making its debut in Thailand to a full house and receiving enthusiastic applause from audiences of all ages.

Yang Shih-Hao, with over a decade of experience in hoop performance, shared that "After" not only showcases a new form of hoop art and advanced techniques but also tells the story of his personal growth. Performing in Bangkok for the first time, he was delighted by the lively responses from young Thai audiences. Established in 2016, the Bangkok International Children's Theatre Festival is Thailand's first festival combining domestic and international performances for children. The program planning breaks preconceived notions about children's theatre, presenting diverse and profound themes. Invited to perform, Festival Director Ajima expressed that after seeing "After" in Taiwan, she was eager to bring it to Thailand. She was immensely pleased with the audience’s enthusiastic response.

Starting from August 2, "After" was performed for three consecutive days at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, accompanied by talks and workshops that attracted many attendees. Yang Shih-Hao hopes that this performance will inspire Thai audiences to imagine more about circus and performing arts, allowing more people to feel the unique charm of circus art.

This performance was not just a visual feast but also a cultural exchange. Audiences spent an unforgettable evening filled with laughter and awe, gaining deeper insights into Taiwanese performing arts. Yang Shih-Hao expressed his desire to have more opportunities in the future to showcase his work on international stages, bringing the magical world of "Circus Gate" to more people.

The successful performance in Bangkok marked a new chapter for "Circus Gate" and provided Thai audiences with a refreshing cultural experience. Yang Shih-Hao’s performance not only demonstrated the diversity of circus arts but also left everyone eagerly anticipating future shows.
