On March 15, the "2023 Multicultural Festival in New Taipei City" (新北市多元文化節) officially began. The theme for this year is "Re-Earthing," which begins with "eating," and uses food to highlight the multiculturalism and varied cuisines of New Taipei City. The components of Britain, France, Japan, Burma, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and other nations, as well as the cultures of Fujian, Hakka, and indigenous ethnic groups in Taiwan, are merged with the life memories and emotions related. Until April 15th, a number of events, such as lectures, markets, short trips, etc., will be planned using the main concepts of "what, how to eat, where to eat.

Several talks, fairs, short excursions, and other events have been planned as part of the New Taipei Multicultural Festival this year. On March 26, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Zhonghe No. 4 Park will host the major event. A market, artistic performances, and cultural experience activities will be present. The series of events also includes five "mini-trips," and online registration has been available since March 15. The dates of the five mini-trips are April 1, April 9, and April 15, respectively.

Five short excursions will be organized to experience the cultural and environmental features of New Taipei City in Wulai, Zhonghe Huaxin Street, and Tucheng Organic Farm.
