Jianying (建英), a spouse from Mainland who has been in Taiwan for almost 26 years, had an unhappy marriage and was later diagnosed with cervical cancer. Her body still had tumors after surgery. Mainland Affairs Council and National Immigration Agency send fruits and condolence money to her in the hopes that she gets over challenging phrase.
Since her divorce, Jianying, 49, has been parenting her kids by herself. She put a lot of effort into doing the job as a cleaner, but she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After surgery, her physical condition progressively normalized, but it seemed to be a tumor on her chest. After learning about Jianying's predicament, the Mainland Affairs Council and National Immigration Agency expressed their concern and reluctance by offering to help. They did so in the hope that by giving Jianying financial relief as well as warmth and care through the donation of gifts and condolence money.

Jianying said that while she is lucky to have the assistance of the country's social welfare system, which can offer basic care when facing challenges and help her feel less alone when she is weak.
National Immigration Agency is dedicated to caring for new residents. It has established a development fund for new immigrants and a social assistance plan for them to provide emergency assistance to new immigrants who are in need. If new immigrants need help, they can seek assistance from the local government.
