The Zhonghe Precinct of the New Taipei City Police Department (NTPD) propagandas fraud prevention at the 2023 Buddha's Birthday event in Huaxing Street to improve new immigrants' fraud awareness and protect their own rights and interests.

The Zhonghe Precinct also highlighted five typical fraudulent practices, including online buying, phony investments, defrauding installment payments, online dating—or using false identities to pass for loved ones and close friends—and defrauding installment payments. It is believed the propaganda would help new immigrants to understand the many types of fraud that may be used, increase public knowledge of fraud, and motivate people to join the fight against fraud so that social security can be improved.

The director of Zhonghe Precinct asked for all investments to be done legally and to avoid being defrauded by inflated claims of huge earnings and loss-free trading. Along with promoting fraud prevention, the event also featured presentations on traffic safety, including information on slowing down at intersections, fastening seat belts, donning helmets, and other topics to increase new immigrants' awareness of traffic safety. To build a safe transportation environment, one must easily understand and adapt to Taiwan's surroundings and regulations.
