The number of new immigrants in Taiwan has increased year by year, and there is even a certain number of new immigrants living in the offshore islands where the population is sparsely populated. Recently, the Kinmen County Government organized the "2021 Yearly Appraisal of the Women's Welfare Service Center", in which professional committee members evaluate the results of women's rights services & activities in Kinmen County in recent years.
According to a report in the Kinmen Daily News, the Kinmen County Government has commissioned a corporation to run a Women’s Welfare Service Center, which serves female residents in Kinmen County, including new immigrants.
The Women’s Welfare Service Center in Kinmen County provides services for new immigrants, including setting up a new immigrant family service center and holding relevant lectures, such as life adjustment courses and parent-child family activities.

Dong Shen (董燊), the director of the Social Affairs Department of Kinmen County, said that the Women's Welfare Service Center of Kinmen County not only provides employment assistance, holds gender lectures, and teaches knowledge on laws, but also organizes various courses and activities. In addition, psychological and law consultations are provided every month.
For new immigrants living in a relatively unfamiliar environment, they will inevitably face adjustment disorders. Do not forget there is always the Women’s Welfare Service Center to accompany every woman in Kinmen County.
