The Tourism Bureau of Tainan City offers three touring routes in English, including the Classic Tour, Local Tour, and Sea Discovery Tour, in an effort to promote Tainan tourism to foreign visitors. Each tour is conducted in small groups of 1 to 6 people and remain two hours. Since its debut in 2015, it has served more than a thousand individuals.

The three English touring routes includes historical sites, local markets, and coastal attractions. Each session is carried out in small groups of 1 to 6 people, mainly for foreign tourists, and the guided tour takes about two hours. Over the past eight years, it has received tourists from 45 countries including the United States, Germany, Britain, France, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and Turkey.

According to the Tainan City Government, the city is actively planning a number of events to welcome both domestic and foreign tourists in order to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Tainan's establish. It is hoped that the touring routes would attract more foreign visitor.
