The Labor and Youth Development Department, Pingtung County Government held entrepreneurship classes at the Pingtung Digital Youth Center(屏東數位青創中心), including entrepreneurial marketing strategies, imaginative creation, and related resources, in order to assist new immigrant and unemployed women in realizing their entrepreneurial dreams. Entrepreneurial consulting services are also provided after class.

The director of the Labor and Youth Development Department, Pingtung County Government noted that an increasing number of foreigners are moving to Taiwan due to the prevalence of cross-border marriages. Women must enter the workforce in order to meet changing family and economic demands, therefore the entrepreneurship classes have specifically planned for women.

The current government loan scheme is introduced in the courses of entrepreneurial capital utilization and planning. The Academy Foundation (教育基金會) and the Pingtung County Government work together to address the needs of new immigrant women, offer micro-startup funding, and inspire them to explore business.
