Wu Fangcao (武芳草), a new immigrant from Vietnam who has lived in Taiwan for over 12 years, stepped out of her comfort zone, overcame postpartum depression, and acquired new skills. She worked diligently and with zeal to thrive as an art educator. She not only introduced 3D jelly flower sweets to Taiwan but also gain amazing life experiences.

Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City is where Wu Fangcao (武芳草) comes from. At a party with friends, just before she started college, she met a young man from Taiwan. Wu Fangcao was particularly pining for life in Taiwan because her sister was married and had lived there for a long time. Later, Wu Fangcao made the courageous decision to leave up her studies, pursue love and happiness, and wed to Taiwan.

When Wu Fangcao (武芳草) was married, she had only turned 19 years old. She had heard a lot about living in Taiwan from her sister, but when she first came in Taiwan, the cold in eastern Taiwan shocked her. Wu Fangcao's husband and in-laws urged her to enroll in supplementary school so that she could attend Chinese classes at night to help her become more used to living in Taiwan early. In order to get to know Wu Fangcao better, they would also urge her to take part in events sponsored by National Immigration Agency or neighborhood organizations.

After three years of marriage, Wu Fangcao (武芳草) was pregnant with her first child. Her devoted mother-in-law required surgery because of her ill health throughout her pregnancy. Wu was concerned that she wouldn't be able to care for her mother-in-law. After giving birth, she became melancholy as a result of several stresses. Wu Fangcao also unintentionally came into a video on 3D jelly flowers, which were hugely popular in Europe, at this time. Wu Fangcao discovered a highly skilled Vietnamese instructor of making jelly flowers, she thus made the decision to return to Vietnam with her kids to learn 3D jelly flowers.

Wu Fangcao (武芳草) has a goal now that she has begun learning how to make 3D jelly flowers, which helps her feel less melancholy. Orders and queries for Wu Fangcao's 3D jelly flowers gradually started to come in. She made the decision to launch the first 3D jelly flower specialty store in Taiwan after receiving an increasing number of orders.

Wu Fangcao (武芳草) is highly active in launching jelly flower teaching classes and producing teaching books in addition to creating bespoke orders, which is helping Taiwanese consumers get more familiar with 3D jelly flower delicacies. Wu Fangcao has developed into a popular instructor in this area and trained several qualified lecturers.

Wu Fangcao claimed that after fully devoting herself to the task of helping new immigratns, she came to the realization that many of these sisters are actually quite talented and eager to learn; all they want is a platform on which to showcase their abilities.

Wu Fangcao (武芳草) is excited to support the expansion of skill-learning programs for newc immigrants as a member of the New Immigrants Development Foundation this year. Wu Fangcao believes that by expanding these programs, new immigrants will have greater opportunity to find employment.

Wu Fangcao (武芳草) also advised new immigrants who want to launch their own businesses to first do their research, learn, and comprehend what they can do, whether the market and products are competitive, just think clearly, conduct a thorough market analysis, and plan. As long as you have the courage to take the chance, you will be able to realize your dream of launching a business.
