Chiayi Adds a New Highlight to Its Night Economy!
Located in the East District of Chiayi City, "Jia Ren Bar" has officially opened, marking a standout achievement under Chiayi City’s 2024 Youth Entrepreneurship Incentive Program. Founders Zhan Bo-Yu and his wife Wu Jing-Xi brought their successful entrepreneurial experience from Taipei back to their hometown, creating a Japanese-style izakaya that has become a symbol of young entrepreneurship in the area. Chiayi Mayor Huang Min-Hui attended the opening ceremony to congratulate the new store, showcasing the city government’s strong support for youth entrepreneurship.
Mayor Huang Min-Hui stated that Chiayi City, as a hub for leisure, tourism, and consumption in the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan region, has been actively promoting local revitalization and youth entrepreneurship. She pointed out that the successful opening of Jia Ren Bar not only adds a unique dining and leisure venue to Chiayi City but also injects new vitality into the local economy. The bar's interior design features locally made wood and furniture, creating a strong “Wood City” atmosphere. Moreover, it uses chicken rice made with local Jinlong Soy Sauce, perfectly integrating Japanese cuisine with local specialties.
Zhan Bo-Yu mentioned that a great deal of thought and effort went into the design and decoration of "Jia Ren Bar," especially when it came to selecting sake. After multiple rounds of selection and strict quality control, they aim to provide customers with a top-notch dining experience. They plan to host regular sake-tasting events and invite professional brewers to share Japanese sake culture, allowing customers to not only enjoy delicious food but also deepen their understanding and appreciation of sake.
