National Hsinchu Commercial Vocational High School (HCCVS) encourages overseas students from Minghsin University of Science and Technology to participate in cultural and culinary exchanges with different national cultures in order to give students a learning environment where English may be utilized freely. The students also discussed national cuisine and culture in English.
Students from HCCVS also spoke to the international students in English to introduce unique foods in Hsinchu. Through this exchange, the students learnt about the local customs and foods of many nations and even picked up some slangs from the Philippines and Ukraine, which is a unique experience.

Foreign students can meet high school students from other schools of different countries through exchange programs, and Taiwanese high school students can enhance their foreign language proficiency and foster an exchange culture.
