"Voting School" Film to Understand Everything About Voting in 60 Seconds

With the approach of the election on January 11, does everyone know what you should pay attention to? To make people understand the relevant regulations of voting, the Central Election Commission has made a "Voting School" short film for the public to understand everything about voting.

Central Election Commission states that a chapter of "Voting School" film, "Who can vote?" explains who can vote: 1. Nationals of the Republic of China; 2. At least 20 years of age; 3. People who have lived in Taiwan for more than 4 months can vote for legislators and political parties and can vote for president and vice president, legislators, and political parties if people have lived for more than 6 months; 4. People who are not declared under guardianship. As long as new residents meet the above conditions, they also have the right to vote.

The film also promotes "how to vote": 1. Bringing your national identity card, seal, and voting notification; 2. Presenting your identity card to the staff; 3. Autographing or affixing your seal to get a vote; 4. Entering the circle section and using the tool offered by the Central Election Commission to circle your preferred candidate; 5. Putting your vote in the ballot box and don't show your vote to others.

As long as you follow the above rules, you can cast your sacred vote on January 11 of 2020! For the full version of "Voting School" film, please stay tuned to the Facebook posts of 中選會臉書粉絲專頁.
