From Beyoncé and Usher to Christina Aguilera, Dolce & Gabbana isn't content with dressing the music world's top stars; now, the brand is setting its sights on making real dogs more fashionable.

The latest product from the Italian fashion house is designed for the dogs that have it all — a designer perfume with a matching price tag.

According to the company’s website, this new product, inspired by Domenico Dolce’s “unconditional love” for his “loyal dog Fefé,” is a scent masterpiece. The perfume, named “Fefé,” is described as a “fragrance of ylang-ylang’s cocooning warmth, the cleanliness of musk, and a creamy woody base of sandalwood.” It was created by perfumer Emilie Coppermann.

Priced at €99 ($109) for a 100ml (3.4-ounce) bottle, “Fefé” comes in a sleek green lacquered glass bottle adorned with a vibrant red metal cap and a precious 24-carat gold-plated paw. The product also comes with a D&G dog collar (available in two sizes) with a customizable tag.The green lacquered glass bottle features a 24-carat gold-plated paw. Courtesy Dolce & Gabbana

A series of stylishly dressed dogs appear in D&G’s promotional video on their website. As classical music plays in the background, the narrator says, "I am delicate, charming, genuine, sensitive, mysterious, rebellious, fresh, irresistible, clean. Because I am not just a dog. I am Fefé."

Applying the product in the advertisement appears easy, as all the featured dogs sit perfectly still on high stools awaiting their turn, except for the one labeled as a rebel.

For those with less cooperative pets, the website provides instructions: “Spray Fefé on your hands or a brush, and then rub or brush the dog's coat from mid-body to tail, giving them a moment of fragrant care.”

D&G is just the latest brand to capitalize on the dog luxury market. British designer Anya Hindmarch offers a dog poop bag holder charm for £135 ($172) on her website. Fashion-forward dogs can wear a Prada puffer jacket for £600 ($765) during the day and snuggle up in a Versace large bed for £915 ($1,170) at night.
