The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute has been traveling the United States for exhibition tour since May under the title "Homeland: Relationship of Taiwan Green Craft with Earth, Community and Mind" to further promote Taiwan's green arts and crafts. Bamboo weaving, patchwork, marine debris painting, and other crafts are on display. The exhibition location of the current round has been changed to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, where it will remain on view through June 27.

The exhibition "Homeland: Relationship of Taiwan Green Craft with Earth, Community and Mind" uses crafts as a medium to express concern for the humanities and the environment, and it showcases the tradition and innovation of Taiwanese crafts as well as the essence of Taiwanese culture, according to the N National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute.

The organizer of the exhibition in New York also made arrangements for Taiwanese artisans (吳寬亮,洪碧穗,何秀玲) to visit nearby communities and colleges to demonstrate a variety of crafts, including weaving, patchwork, and marine waste painting. By introducing locals to handicrafts, they were able to comprehend and experience Taiwan's emphasis on environmental protection craft aesthetics. The director (李光章) of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York expressed his hope that through this exhibition, Americans and people from other nations would gain a better understanding of Taiwan's craft culture, draw attention to how important it is for all of us to live sustainably as a species, and look forward to realizing the dream of a sustainable environment.
