Taichung Central Park will host the launch of the National Day fireworks in 2023. The Taichung City Government's Civil Affairs Bureau announced that 1,500 fireworks will be unleashed in Taichung Central Park on September 18 for 5 minutes starting at 9 p.m. as part of the 2023 National Day celebrations. On the day of release, traffic control will also be implemented, and certain road segments will have restrictions on the movement of people and cars.

The city’s Civil Affairs Bureau said that the National Day fireworks have returned to Taichung, and the prime viewing locations surrounding Taichung Central Park have been arranged to allow the people to take in them.
