To deepen gender equality education, the Ministry of Education will hold the "Gender Spectrum in the Metaverse: Crossing the Boundaries of Reality and Virtual Worlds, Returning Home" exhibition from April 19th to May 11th, 2026, on the 7th floor of the National Taiwan Science Education Center.  Through digital technology and interactive exhibits, the exhibition will explore gender issues related to family, science, sports, and art, showcasing Taiwan's achievements in promoting gender equality. 
Immersive Exhibition: Exploring the Evolution of Gender and Family
The exhibition centers on gender and family, extending into science, sports, and art, illustrating how gender roles evolve with time and reflecting on the challenges and opportunities of the metaverse era.  A special "Taiwan's Outstanding Female Scientists" section features pioneering women in fields like biomedical science, physics, and environmental science, highlighting their contributions.  The exhibition also focuses on the achievements of Taiwanese female athletes in track and field, badminton, and weightlifting, challenging traditional gender frameworks. 
Weekend Theme Activities: Promoting Gender Equality Through Diverse Experiences
A series of weekend theme activities are planned during the exhibition to explore gender issues in various formats:
★ April 26-27: "Body Boundaries" picture book reading, introduction to Ballroom culture
★ May 3-4: Picture book reading, Drag Queen art performance, promoting respect for diverse genders
★ May 10-11: "Breaking Free from Gender Stereotypes" magic performance, interactive guidance on preventing digital sexual violence 
In addition, the Gender Issues Weekend Cinema will screen award-winning films from Taiwan and abroad. The exhibition area includes a check-in wall, light and shadow interactive areas, painting projection games, and a rotating display of gender-related films, allowing visitors to understand the importance of gender equality through immersive experiences.
