According to Sara Duterte: DepEd to launch digital portal for learning materials | Inquirer News, Sara Duterte, the vice president and secretary of education, is thinking of collaborating with the top internet service providers in the nation to digitize educational materials.

This was revealed by Duterte when she revealed the Department of Education's (DepEd) intention to launch DepEd Digi-Ed, or DepEd Digital Education 2028, a digital platform where students may access educational resources.

On October 25, the Vice President delivered a speech to the members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. On October 26, a copy of her remarks from the occasion was shared on Facebook.

2,000 schools are receiving satellites for internet access, according to Duterte, and 25 schools have been selected to take part in the Starlink concept's test run.

According to the Education Secretary, digitizing educational materials is the top priority.

According to Duterte, DepEd is acquiring Digi-Ed Learning Carts, which are mobile computer labs with 46 computers, a smart TV, and other amenities.
