With the cold and humid weather in Taiwan, The Electrical Engineering Department of Kun Shan University donated winter clothes to 40 foreign students from the Philippines to help them survive the cold winter. The foreign students appreciate the caring act of the school.

The Electrical Engineering Department of Kun Shan University have recruited 40 foreign freshmen this year. Foreign students were not used to Taiwan's cold weather because they had just moved there for the first time, and they often felt ill because they did not pack enough garments. Upon seeing this, the teachers in the department launched a winter clothes donation activity, collect clothes that are of good quality but seldom worn, and provide students with appropriate clothes to choose, so that students can feel warm in the cold winter in a foreign country.

The students from the tropical country of the Philippines shows their local joyful character, which greatly pleased the teachers of the department who initiated the clothing donation activity. The students also feedback to the school’s enthusiasm and care. They not only took photos with the clothes, but also wrote "Thank you, teacher" in Chinese, teachers and students spend a happy time together.
