In order to support the government's new southbound policy and promotion of Taoyuan sightseeing, Taoyuan City Government will hold the “New Resident Tour Guide Training” activities for 3 days. The registration is open until May 27, 2019. After complete the training, you will have the opportunity to participate in the 2019 Taoyuan Agricultural Expo to provide guided tour service for tourists.
Taoyuan City Government plans to recruit new residents who are familiar with Chinese and who are fluent in one of Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai and English to join the training. They can register on-site or by post from now until May 27.
After the initial review and interview, those who are qualified are expected to start a training course on June 14, 15 and 16, 2019. This training course developed for tourist service and reception skill, enhance the guidance and service knowledge through the curriculum, and enhance the in-depth journey and sightseeing knowledge of Taoyuan to the new residents. Moreover, it also encourages new residents to learn and exchange, and gradually cultivate new residents to become the Taoyuan City Government's human resources in tourist guide and promote the tourist attractions of Taoyuan City to foreign tourists.
