The Tainan Social Worker craft unions and charitable organizations jointly organized the "2021 Social Worker Safety Working Environment Practice Seminar ". Through "Workplace Safety, Visit Service Safety, Workers' Self-care", workers learned how to
maintain their own safety in the process of practice and continue to provide better services for new residents in Tainan to protect the rights and interests of the disadvantaged.

Huang Yu Di (黃鈺迪), the chairman of the Tainan Social Worker craft unions, said that social workers are labors, they need to the related labor rights, improve workplace safety, and take good care of themselves. Besides enhancing one’s sensitivity of practice for safety during the service visit,
the "Safeguard Tainan Social Worker Personal’s Safety Regulations" ensures that the social workers are protected from the threats of life, body, spirit, property, health, freedom, reputation and personality. This is the protection of "fundamental rights".

In response to anti-epidemic measures, this seminar was held in the form of physical and online live broadcasts, inviting a number of practitioners to share their personal experiences about new residents’ services, domestic violence shelters, mental health services, homeless services, and self-care methods. With this seminar, the public will be more aware of the risks of social workers' practice, and the government will also pay more attention to the protection of social workers.
