  • The epidemic is not slowing down: National Level 3 Alert is extended

The epidemic situation in Taiwan is not declining, and the number of local confirmed cases continues to exceed 100 per day. As a result of this, the CECC announced the extension of the National Level 3 Alert to June 14 (It is currently extended until June 28). According to epidemic prevention measures, people are required to wear masks at all times when leaving the safety of their homes and to stop gatherings of more than 5 people indoors and more than 10 people outdoors.   • The Ministry of Education in line with epidemic prevention measures extends the suspension of in-person classes.

The National Level 3 Alert was extended to June 14 (currently extended until June 28), and the MOE announced that all schools at all levels in Taiwan will be suspending in-person classes until June 14 (currently extended until June 28). This includes cram schools and daycare centers; students are asked to stay at home to study. In-campus graduation ceremonies must also be canceled as not to risk spreading the virus.   • Mayors of Taipei and New Taipei City announce the prohibition of dine-in services for restaurants.

The epidemic situation in Taiwan continues to worsen! The mayor of Taipei City announced that beginning May 24, all restaurants will stop their dine-in services.
