Taiwan Endemic Species Research Institute and “SupporTing” NGO co-organized to held a “Tingting Animal Creation Exhibition – the Meaning of Like” event from July 13 to August 4. There will 16 creators with 45 illustrations that will be exhibit in Tainan Black Faced Spoon Bill Hall.
The Endemic Species Research Institute representative said that this is first time the illustration will be taking a place in the Black Faced Spoon Bill Hall. There will be 16 creators’ illustrations, with diverse style of wildlife and companion animals theme, such as the dog, whale, hermit crab, pangolin, turtle, tiger, etc.
In addition, there will be some special lectures, the theme are about the protection from the evil, the animals and evil distance, the journey of the otter, story book design for the elementary school, and Taiwan Roadkill Observation Network sharing activities, hope to encourage the public to start around the life, learn how to coexist with the wildlife.
The founder of “SupporTing”, Liu Weiping (劉偉蘋) said, the co-creation exhibition is the form of visual art that inspire public to more resonate with the animals.
The exhibitor publicly raises the feeling about the situation of the animals, continuously give the attention for the ecological conservation. Through the creation of the illustrators with a professional background, hopefully through their creation, it can convey the common expectation of the people, expecting the animals that living in the world that dominated by the humans could get cherished and more kind of treatment.
