New immigrants in Taiwan will need to adapt to their new unfamiliar environment. To assist the new residents in Taoyuan to adapt to life in Taiwan and understand the local resources, they are guided by the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior (NIA, 內政部移民署) and sponsored by the Department of Social Welfare of Taoyuan City Government (桃園市政府社會局) "Life Adaptation Counseling Class" provides a variety of courses for new immigrants, to guide them to quickly acquire the necessary basic knowledge to live in Taiwan.

The course not only allows new immigrants to understand regulations on basic rights, residency, children's upbringing, employment rights, welfare resources and language learning, etc., It is also a good opportunity for new immigrants to get to know each other, make more friends and expand their social circles in Taiwan.

Courses are offered in seven districts of Taoyuan, including Guishan, Luchu, Taoyuan, Chungli, Bade, Yangmei, and Guanyin. Registration is still open. At the end of the course, a certificate of completion will be issued, and the number of class hours can be deducted from the "Naturalized Nationality Required Study Hours" up to 30 hours.
