Penghu New Immigrant Family Service Center launched a “New Immigrant Self-Care Course.” The course aims to help new immigrants explore dilemmas one may encounter at different stages of a life cycle, and guide them to solve these dilemmas. The application starts today.
The new Immigrant Self-Care Course will start on May 18 and will end on May 22. There are four classes in total.
When people are too busy with their job and family, they often ignore their body and mental health.

The course will invite professional speakers to help new immigrates learn how to take good care of themselves. If people can understand how the body and mind change with age earlier, they can prepare in advance.
Penghu Social Affairs Department mentions the course is designed for new immigrants who are living in Penghu county. There are 15 quotas available. If there are still extra quotas left, Penghu County will allow new immigrants from other counties. New immigrants living in Penghu are welcome to join the New Immigrant Self-Care Course.
