Artificial intelligence (AI) has been strongly promoted in New Taipei City, and a “New Taipei X National Taiwan Normal University X VIA Technologies” government-industry-university collaboration ceremony was held at “New Taipei Municipal Fuhe Junior High School” on January 17.

At the exhibition, a work named “AI Image Recognition & Conveyor Belt of Immigrants’ Culture” was displayed, enabling visitors to understand the religious culture of Myanmar and Vietnam through AI.

The chief education officer, Zhang Ming Wen (張明文), mentioned that Artificial intelligence is of great importance with the rise of the Metaverse concept.

This time, VIA Technologies provided 300 sets of AI image recognition kits worth millions to the government-industry-university collaboration. In addition, guests and students were invited to participate in AI course activities, such as the production of “AI Image Recognition & Conveyor Belt of Immigrants’ Culture”.
