The Kenting National Park Headquarters will hold a beach cleanup event on September 21, 2024 (Saturday) at 9:00 AM in response to World Cleanup Day and the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). This cleanup will cover 10 beaches, including Houbi Lake, Wanlitong, Shan Hai Diving Spot, Houbi Lake, Chushuikou, Sea Urchin Protection Area, Dawan, Shadao, Manzhou Beach, and Fishing Village Park.

The event is open to 450 participants, and registration is available online only from now until 5:00 PM on September 13. On-site and fax registrations will not be accepted. The Kenting National Park Headquarters urges participants to use public transportation or carpool to the event in support of the nation's 2050 Net Zero Transition policy and to raise environmental awareness and participation.
