The Nanke Museum of Archaeology (南科考古館) temporarily suspended on-site operations in response to the COVID-19 epidemic. The museum in cooperation with the Cultural Research and Development Center of the Tainan National University of the Arts (國立臺南藝術大學) developed the "MR360 Online Museum Tour (MR360博物館線上導覽)" and Hand-in-hand Pingpu Special Online Exhibition (牽手平埔特展線上導覽)" to let the public explore the museum virtually.

The museum makes use of 360-degree panoramic technology as a display interface. This kind of digital technology optimizes museum viewing, giving the public a more realistic perspective. Aside from viewing the museum displays, there are also guided tours for children, and displays of bones excavated from tombs in the Nanke (南科) area.
