The Overseas Community Affairs Council hosts experience camps (2023僑務委員會海外青年台灣學習體驗營) to provide international youth with the chance to visit Taiwan for an educational experience and to inspire them to do so. It brings abroad young from Southeast Asia to complete a journey to Taiwan by seeing political and economic construction, campuses, tourism destinations, and cultural interactions with youth.

To provide them an in-depth understanding of Taiwanese culture, the first group of the experience camp welcomed 35 students from the Philippines on a 14-day trip to Taiwan. The participants shared a variety of experiences while visiting Taiwan, particularly honing their Chinese language abilities and sampling local cuisine. The natural beauty of Taiwan drew the participants in, and they praised the positive attitude and friendliness of Taiwanese people.

The director of the experience camp also thanked the Overseas Community Affairs Council for organizing the occasion, emphasizing its importance in enticing overseas youth from Southeast Asia to Taiwan for development. He hoped that in the future, more overseas youth from Southeast Asia would be drawn to Taiwan for development.
