The Taijiang National Park Administration has recently launched the "Island Lion Hunt - Taijiang National Park and Kinmen National Park Joint Picture Book Exhibition," aimed at bringing the public closer to national parks through diverse educational approaches while promoting the concepts of nature conservation and historical culture.
The exhibition is based on the picture books Grandpa’s Secret Base and Dressing the Wind Lion God, incorporating elements of the Guardian Lion and the Wind Lion God to create a fantastical exploration scene themed around "Island Lion Hunt." Visitors can follow in the footsteps of the story's protagonist, Jiamei, to gain a deeper understanding of the close connection between the natural environment and local folk beliefs. The exhibition also features interactive games to supplement the knowledge from the picture books, enhancing visitors' understanding of the Yanshengwu culture in both Taijiang and Kinmen.Joint Picture Book Exhibition - Guardian Lion Map (Photo / Reposted from the Ministry of the Interior's official website)
