[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global New Network]With the opening of borders, Taiwan ICDF Overseas Volunteers, which had been put on hold for three years, is now accepting applications from those who want to join the "2023 Taiwan Oversea Volunteers." Allow anyone between the ages of 20 and 65, as well as welcome new immigrants and their second-generation children who have linguistic advantages to sign up to experience more varied international volunteer service options.

According to the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), there could be up to 37 professional needs and 13 nations are anticipated to receive volunteers from the "Taiwan Oversea Volunteers" in 2023. The online registration starts from now to February 3rd. The service period will be between six months and a year, and this recruitment will seek out volunteers with experience in teaching, nutrition and health education, network engineering, fundraising marketing, animal conservation, and field research.

Taiwan ICDF Overseas Volunteers has continued to work with international non-governmental organizations of all types in recent years to deploy special volunteers in addition to sending long-term volunteers, primarily to nations having diplomatic relations. This year, it will cooperate with the Good Neighbors (台灣好鄰居協會) to send Volunteers with marketing fundraising, project operation, and psychological counseling expertise went to Mongolia and Vietnam; cooperated with the Cheetah Conservation Fund (獵豹保育基金會) to send volunteers with professional fields such as animal conservation, information, and electrical engineering to Somaliland; and also cooperated with Step30 (舊鞋救命國際基督關懷協會) to send fieldwork volunteers to Kenya, as well as education projects in Thailand, Indonesia and other countries.

Since its founding in 1985, Taiwan ICDF Overseas Volunteers has dispatched over 830 volunteers to serve in 44 different nations. Volunteers take their skills and go to another country to help. They can obtain useful international living experience in addition to spreading Taiwanese culture locally. Following their service, they return to Taiwan with cross-cultural experience, enhancing the perception of our diverse community.
